The Rams seem pretty set on taking Bradford at this moment. In my opinion, they should take a QB but I think Clausen is less of a gamble given the fact that he is healthy, why take the damaged one?2. Detroit Lions: Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska: No Change
Aside from having a heck of a cool name, Suh is the #1 ranked player on most teams' board. Easy pick that no one is going to complain about. I do feel however than an OT is also a high possibility here now.
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma: No Change
Right now, the Bucs are ecstatic that the Rams are going to get a QB since that will allow them to get their hands on one of the top two DT in the draft.4. Washington Redskins: Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame: No change
Mike Shanahan new regime almost guarantees a new QB in town and Clausen would be a great fit for Washington's stable of wide receivers.Okung is the other possibility.5. Kansas City Chiefs: Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State
Russell Okung is the without question the top tackle in the draft. The Chiefs can protect Matt Cassel blindside with Okung and slide Branden Albert inside where he is better suited. Eric Berry is also a possibility here.6. Seattle Seahawks: Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa. Previous: Eric Berry, S, Tennessee
Bulaga's stock is on the rise. The Hawks inability up front has been well documented the last three seasons and Bulaga would go a long way toward restoring the offensive line to prominence.7. Cleveland Browns: Joe Haden, CB, Florida. Previous: C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson
The Browns can't believe their luck and arguably the top player in the draft to shore up their heinous secondary. Haden put his bad combine 40-yd dash time behind him with a nice 4.43s at his pro-day.8. Oakland Raiders: Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland: No change
Taylor Mays is a possibility here given Al Davis penchant for 40 times. However, the Raiders have a stable of promising safeties in Tyvon Branch, Michael Huff and Michael Mitchell. Bruce Campbell is an offensive tackle who ran a 4.85, that's equally impressive and sure to have caught Davis' attention.9. Buffalo Bills: Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma: Previous: Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa
The Bills desperately need offensive line help and will be under pressure to pick Williams at #910. Jacksonville Jaguars: Eric Berry, S, Tennessee. Previous: Jason Pierre-Paul, DE, South Florida
There is also no doubt that the Jaguars will all OVER Tim Tebow. Expect the Jags to trade down a few spots to pick Tebow. Someone will trade up to grab Eric Berry if he ever falls that far.
11. Denver Broncos: Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State: No change
With rumors that the Broncos want to trade Brandon Marshall, they will need a wide receiver to replace him. Dez Bryant is without a doubt the best receiver in the draft.Many draft have McClain going here, I am still unconvinced that the relatively slow LB with a potentially debilitating disease will be picked that high.12. Miami Dolphins: Sergio Kindle, OLB, Texas: No change
Parcells loves his linebackers and with the Joey Porter's departure, this opens the door for a pass rushing rookie. 13. San Francisco 49ers: Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers. Previous: Taylor Mays, S, USC
The 49ers solidify their offensive line with Davis who could start at Right Tackle immediately14. Seattle Seahawks: CJ Spiller, RB, Clemson. Previous: Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma
Seattle gets the coveted running back who will no doubt be maximized by Pete Carroll. Spiller becomes Seattle's first franchise tailback since Shaun Alexander.
15. N.Y. Giants: Rolando McClain, ILB, Oklahoma: No change
The Giants let Antonio Pierce walk and need to replace him. Why not get McClain, a potential franchise middle linebacker for the next decade. McClain is a leader and a highly instinctive player, and that's what you need in the middle. Sean Weatherspoon's stock is (finally) rising so he could be the pick here too.16. Tennessee Titans: Jason Pierre-Paul, DE, South Florida. Previous: Joe Haden, CB, Florida
The Titans could use a corner to replace the aging and ineffective Nick Harper but the top corner Joe Haden is long gone. Expect the Titans to address their Defensive Line if they don't get a corner. Pierre-Paul might be this year's Vernon Gholston but that won't prevent a team from taking him early on.17. San Francisco 49ers: Taylor Mays, S, USC. Previous: Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers
The 49ers are very high on Taylor Mays and would love to have him roaming their secondary. He is the pick here if available.18. Pittsburgh Steelers: Kyle Wilson, CB, Wake Forest. Previous: Jahvid Best, RB, California
The Steelers need to draft a corner badly and it might take precedent over everything else. Wilson here would be a good value pick.
19. Atlanta Falcons: Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech. Previous: Patrick Robinson, CB, Florida St.
With the signing of Dunta Robinson, the Falcons move on to their next needs which are in the defensive front seven. Derrick Morgan should be a brainless pick here if he is still available.
20. Houston Texans: Patrick Robinson, CB, Florida St. Previous: Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech
Sure, the Texans could use a running back such as Ryan Matthews but there is certainly some talented backs that can be had later in the draft. Drafting a corner now becomes a big priority with the loss of Dunta Robinson through free agency. Earl Watson is also a possibility here as some GM see him capable of playing corner.
21. Cincinnati Bengals: Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma. Previous: Golden Tate, WR, Notre Dame
With the release of Laveranues Coles and Chad Ocho Cinco's declining production, the Bengals would be wise to add another weapon to Carson Palmer's arsenal. Gresham will probably not make it past the Bengals22. New England Patriots: Brandon Graham, DE/OLB, Michigan: No change
What do you expect here? They will probably trade down a few spots and accumulate gazillions 2nd and 3rd picks. Graham would be a great pick for the Pats who could use a little help in terms of pass rushing.23. Green Bay Packers: Charles Brown, OT, USC: No change
The Packers need to shore up their offensive line at both tackles position as well as at offensive guard. Charles Brown is a good pass protector who will keep Aaron Rodgers upright. Look for him to be taken somewhere near the end of the first round or the beginning of the second round. The Packers also could use a corner or a pass-rushing OLB.24. Philadelphia Eagles: Sean Weatherspoon, LB, Missouri. Previous: Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise State
The Eagles signed CB/S Marlin Jackson in the offseason and the secondary isn't as much of a need anymore.I think the Eagles finally address their mismatched group of linebacker with the Missouri stud.25. Baltimore Ravens: Devin McCourty, CB, Rutgers. Previous: Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma
Having traded for Anquan Boldin in the offseason, the Ravens will most likely address their defense which has been declining for the past several years.26. Arizona Cardinals: Dan Williams, DT, Tennessee. Previous: Sean Weatherspoon, LB, Missouri
Karlos Dansby departure leaves a gaping hole in the Cardinals' front seven and the Cardinals would love to replace the aging Mike Gandy. However, no one at those position are available at this spot so the Cards get their franchise nose tackle for their 3-4 defense. 27. Dallas Cowboys: Mike Iupati, OG/OT, Idaho: No change
The Cowboys could use an upgrade at OG as well as depth along their offensive line. Mike Iupati, who can play both OT and OG is a valuable commodity in that aspect. Earl Watson here is also a strong possibility if still available.28. San Diego Chargers: Ryan Matthews, RB, Fresno State. No change
The Chargers get LT's successor. The Fresno State product rushed for over 1,800 yds and is the most complete back in the draft.29. N.Y. Jets: Golden Tate, WR, Notre Dame. Previous: Dan Williams, DT, Tennessee
The speedy receiver would be the perfect complement to Jerricho Cotchery and Braylon Edwards.
30. Minnesota Vikings: Earl Thomas, S, Texas. No change.
The Vikings pick late but they are in excellent position to grab one of the several outstanding defensive players who will unavoidably end up sliding into their lap.Thomas is an outstanding player but many teams are shying away from him. A corner like Patrick Robinson, or Devin McCourty are also extremely strong possibilities if still available.31. Indianapolis Colts: Maurkice Pouncey, C/OG, Florida. Previous: Brian Price, DT, UCLA
The Colts get their hands on Pouncey who is easily the top Center in the draft and one of the two best interior blocker in this draft.32. New Orleans Saints: Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida. No change.
The Saints improve their pass defense with the explosive Carlos Dunlap who would line up opposite Will Smith.
